Legion Posted July 2, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 2, 2009 These pictures were taken about a month ago since then i have purchased much more. MSGT Marion Duran served from what i can guess 1947-1973? Duran sadly passed away May 2008. He served multiple tour with CCS. I met his wife sometime after that at a flea market and she agreed to sell his estate to raise money so she could go back to Germany. Jason Hardy got some his tiger stripes and some other items but fortunatly i was able to get the left overs. I even purchased the captured MAS 36 which came with capture papers. Some items have already been shown here. I was in a hurry and yes i know some of the patches are upside down (my wife was helping ) I also have a ton of documents spanning his career. Duran was very good friends with Col. Robert Howard and i have lots of autographed pictures from Mr. Howard as well as pictures of them together. I still get a call every week to pick up more items. Unfortuantly i have been so busy teaching the summer semester i have had little time to do research. enjoy
