riverok Posted February 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 25, 2009 I have two sets of U.S.-marked wooden bunk beds. Two are dated Sept. 1942. If anyone would like photos I'll be glad to email them to you. These beds can be used as singles or double beds. I would assume these beds are not intended to last very long since they are wood. These beds are from Camp Gruber, Oklahoma which served as a training facility for our troops and as a German POW camp. Riverok Oklahoma

Brian Keith Posted March 1, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 1, 2009 Those are in really nice shape! The ones we have spent a lot of time with the Boy Scouts and, as they say, boys will be boys, so ours aren’t as nice. These are big and bulky but really make a great display!. Thanks for showing them to us. There is a Mount Airy is just outside of Cincinnati, OH. BKW
