navyman Posted March 5, 2011 Author Share #15 Posted March 5, 2011 I found this navy wing, its marked 1/20GK ON STERLING. Does anyone know what company might of made this wing?. This one caught my eyes because of the details, the shield has lines running across the top shield and instead of berries it looks like feathering . I could be wrong on the feathering. Does anyone know if these are pre ww2 or just early ww2 ect..? I appreciate the help guys, Jason Next wing is a AIRCREW Wing and has the GEMSCO makers mark. armillary_journey Posted March 9, 2011 Share #18 Posted March 9, 2011 GO NAVY! Those are some smokin' wings dude. I'm with Russ on the old Amico mark. But if I could pick two, those old wings with no berries, they're so hot you need to store them in a cool place. Good luck!

MikeK Posted March 11, 2011 Share #21 Posted March 11, 2011 I haven't seen a Gemsco marked example that otherwise looks like a Vanguard, so thanks for posting that one. The NUS example is also a really nice one but the HH Aircrew are post-58, which is when I understand the pattern changed from fairly plain to detailed feathering, including berries.
