USSOCOM crest. Unmarked back. Back from the 90's ,when they were given out in 3's and you had to sign for them, and upon leaving the unit, were SUPPOSED to turn them back in. These were before IOH approved the design, and were locally procured by USSOCOM/JSOC.

O.k;Can someone tell me how to downsize my pix? I try to download and it says it "exceeded maximum..."

I only had 1 pic of front and 1 pic of back of a crest. I have had this before and just decided not to bother, but now that I am unemployed and have time..

Im not a collector, just had a piece given to me and wondering about its authenticity and worth. Its a pin back unit insignia from the 32nd division in WWI (Red Arrow division, aka Les Terribles) This was a national guard division out of WI and MI started in 1917. Ive included some quick pictures, and the back says "GEMSCO

N.Y."

Thanks for any and all help!

DUI for 338th Field Artillery of 88th Infantry Division.

The 88th Infantry Division included the 337FA, 338FA and 339FA. The DUI pin for the 337FA and 338FA are very similiar but the DUI for 338FA has a non-standard shape to the shield that is more pointed. The 337FA's pin has a diagonal stripe, sorta like twisted ribbon, and does not have the Corn Stalk in the Blue cloverleaf.

This pin was on an Vet's overseas cap who served in the Battery C, 328FA, 85ID, during most of the campaign. He either got this from a friend or he was transferred into the 88th Division due to his lack of 85 ASR Points.

506th PIR WWII w/ sterling silver hallmark and hinged pin (English made). In post war examples the shield is a mirror image, meaning the lightning bolt runs from upper lt to lwr right and the six canopies are on the right.

Thanks for the correct names. Some of these are difficult to ID using only Google! I'll get a book eventually. Looks like I also typed AFF instead of AAF.
