Undertoker Posted December 19, 2012 Share #55 Posted December 19, 2012 hi guys im a big fan of the M-1948 parkas Im actually looking to buy one , complete with original liner in or around february time and im kinds looking now and getting as much info and groundwork in as possible. What sort of money do they fetch ? IS there a good place to go to purchase one? Im assuming they are a lot more common in the US than the UK, do you think it might be wise to buy one there and ship it over ? Im living in the UK and they seem even scarcer here, i may well end up buying one from the US and shipping it if i could find the right one. Ideally id like an unissued one if i could find one. Im happy to pay top dollar for an unissued one if the right one came along. Im a bit unsure of the size on them, do they come out big like the M65 ? Any tips or advice is appreciated, ive got about 10 weeks before i plan to actually part with my hard earned cash, so i want to learn as much as possible before then and ideally get one lined up so im just putting the feelers out now regards John
korea drab Posted August 27, 2013 Author Share #56 Posted August 27, 2013 I was lucky enough to find a hood for that EX-48 intermediate jacket. Its the missing detachable hood! Yeahhhh! You can see where the zipper half goes with the counterpart on the jacket. Also the snap on buttons on the rear neck area are located. My jacket came without it. So to find one now allone is good. More pics when it arrives and i can zipp it to the jacket. Its a large size as my jacket too!

I can't ever seem to find any EX-48 kit mate, except the one parka I got, but I live in hope
