The bat with stars belongs to the ROCAF's Black Bat squadron, a Taiwanese outfit which overflew the PRC on behest of the CIA. A little Googling will tell that they had an extremely interesting history. The aircraft silhouette is vague but may be a P-3 Orion, which they flew briefly. The hallmark on the bottom of the mug is from a manufacturer in Taipei, but I can't make out the other characters. Hope that is of interest.
