Cobra 6 Actual Posted April 3 Share #649 Posted April 3 WIT is the acronym for “Wing Inspection Team.” At first I thought it meant a team that goes around inspecting the wings of Air Force planes. But after a wee bit more digging I found out it referred to a team that inspected the USAF military unit, a Wing; which is equivalent to an Army Brigade.
