Cobra 6 Actual Posted February 21, 2022 #426 Posted February 21, 2022 Thank you, Lewis, for that information and photos. As a former Infantryman I know that in my era of active duty (mid- to late-1960’s) combat infantry veterans often wore the complete package. For myself that meant a CIB, blue collar and cap discs, a blue infantry shoulder cord, and green wool Combat Leader loops with unit DI’s. Regards, C6A
Sgt_Rock_EasyCo Posted February 27, 2022 #428 Posted February 27, 2022 Col Patrick, armband belongs to Sgt. Jeff Brown JSA, 2nd Plt.
Cobra 6 Actual Posted February 27, 2022 #429 Posted February 27, 2022 Nice ones, Sgt Rock. This is an armband for a photographer at the Military Intelligence School:

Cobra 6 Actual Posted February 28, 2022 #431 Posted February 28, 2022 Yeah, patches, whoever wore that armband would have to have biceps as huge as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in order to see all the letters on the word “Photographer.”
Cobra 6 Actual Posted March 3, 2022 #433 Posted March 3, 2022 ShibaLegend, that armband would have some stories to tell! Here’s a more recent one:
Cobra 6 Actual Posted March 17, 2022 #435 Posted March 17, 2022 Armband for a 101st Airborne “Parade Marshal”:
Cobra 6 Actual Posted March 22, 2022 #436 Posted March 22, 2022 Armband for the 21st Replacement Battalion, circa 1970’s, while the unit was based in or near Frankfort, Germany:
T34forU Posted March 30, 2022 #438 Posted March 30, 2022 The U.S. Army Heritage & Education Center just received an inquiry to identify the two armbands in the attached image. I'm not positive they're American. But would appreciate any thoughts the members may have. Thanks much, Kaleb
Cobra 6 Actual Posted March 30, 2022 #439 Posted March 30, 2022 I’m sorry, you’ve got me stumped. Anyone else help out here?

T34forU Posted March 30, 2022 #441 Posted March 30, 2022 I too was originally thinking it may be Japanese, or even Chinese. I realize that if that's the case, these don't meet the mission of the forum. I appreciate the help. Kaleb
BryanJ Posted April 12, 2022 #444 Posted April 12, 2022 Found last week in antique shop in Dothan, Alabama. Any idea what era?
Cobra 6 Actual Posted April 12, 2022 #445 Posted April 12, 2022 Sure looks WWII to immediately post-War. Here’s one from a 1982 “Team Spirit” Exercise in South Korea:
Thrifter_01 Posted April 12, 2022 #446 Posted April 12, 2022 Two armbands for this thread. One I had identified as cadet corporal armband, and one for the 2nd Armored Division held by brass pins, found them together.

Quartermaster Posted April 14, 2022 #448 Posted April 14, 2022 Here's the flag armband printed on oilcloth material with original safety pins - never used.
