Cobra 6 Actual Posted October 31, 2021 Share #306 Posted October 31, 2021 Marine Corps Provost Marshal (I’ve done something weird on my computer obviously, since my pictures are suddenly appearing as much smaller than my earlier ones. Time to ask one of my grandkids to give me some IT support!)

Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 3, 2021 Share #310 Posted November 3, 2021 Lots of moth nips and a few dog hairs on this old armband:
Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 4, 2021 Share #311 Posted November 4, 2021 Here’s a weird one, it looks like it was either stenciled on or perhaps done with a Magic Marker:
Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 5, 2021 Share #312 Posted November 5, 2021 This is a WWII era kiddies armband: I pulled this photo off the internet. I have one of these somewhere, but it’s not a PFC.
Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 6, 2021 Share #313 Posted November 6, 2021 I posted a similar looking one back in Post #201, but the wording was different:

Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 8, 2021 Share #315 Posted November 8, 2021 Apologies for the above pic in Post #368. I had that in my photo ‘album’ and thought it was mine image. But, here’s the armband and associated photo I have: I don’t recall if I got the picture in Post # 368 from the Internet or this Forum.
Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 9, 2021 Share #316 Posted November 9, 2021 In my earlier Post, above, the last sentence was referring to Post # 388, not # 368. (Duh, on my part.) Curiously, given the traditional Marine Corps colors, this is an Army armband used in Naha, Okinawa, Japan in the 1960’s:
Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 10, 2021 Share #317 Posted November 10, 2021 This armband came with the above:
Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 11, 2021 Share #318 Posted November 11, 2021 This armband is a “toss up”; it’s either an armband for a US soldier that translates for Japanese troops or vice-versa:

Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 12, 2021 Share #322 Posted November 12, 2021 Thanks, jmd62 and Gijoe1987! Many states formed home defense units of various types when their State National Guard units were activated.

I only ask because there was one on eBay today that looked identical and they stated it was from Maryland 1942. Also any idea of its value? I’m considering buying the one from eBay its just so cool. Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 13, 2021 Share #324 Posted November 13, 2021 Hi Gijoe1987. Yep, it is definitely Maryland. As I noted above the organization was formed in 1942. I don't have an end date for it, unfortunately. Good hunting on eBay! Here’s an Army motor maintenance one:
