Dan and Mark:

Thanks so much for sharing the "Effects Depot" patches! That's a new one to me. Never saw that one before.

And Dennis' 2nd' Division and 7th Corps patches are beauties. I am feeling a patch collecting urge growing!

Here are 2 finely made pieces. The patch on the left was used by soldiers assigned to the II Corps Headquarters. Units of the II Corps served on the British front and as a result used the eagle and lion in its design. Many collectors consider the patch on the right to be one of the most beautiful patches of WWI. This one was used by soldiers of the 332nd infantry regiment. There are also variations of the Lion of St. Mark design used by the American Ambulance Service and American Red Cross in Italy.

That is a great looking patch, how much would a nice 332nd infantry regiment bullion patches cost if I could locate one?

Like all these things, it depends on how bad you want one. A loose one (not on a jacket) can run $300.00 and up for the 332nd. There are variations that would even bring more money. Could you get lucky and find one for less, sure.

Information is power! Now that you know what they can bring, and you know what they look like....you might be able to stumble on one for a lot less.

I always thought that this was a variation of the 332nd, but at one point I was told that it is an Infantry Regiment . Does anyone have a positive ID?

But, the 332nd is an infantry regiment. I'm a bit confused.
