While not as colorful as the later China-painted bags I really like the historical aspects of this one. This pre-WWII Marine was a member of E/2/6 who served with the Marine Brigade in Panama and in Iceland in 1941. Enjoy....Semper Fi......Bobgee Is someone can find out what's the name on this one? Stony Posted July 21, 2022 Share #227 Posted July 21, 2022 I can't read the last name, but if you give me the spelling, I can research the Marine.
BRO&USMC Posted August 5, 2022 Share #228 Posted August 5, 2022 It seems that it was Wilbur E. Flanagin, served in E/2/6 in Iceland, then made a quick transfert into C/1/21 and moved to A/1/21 in 1943. I think that we already had <212> for A/1/21 so here it would be his UNIS during his short time within C/1/21 (<214>). Strange that UNIS appear so early here.
