Bob Hudson Posted July 30, 2016 Share #179 Posted July 30, 2016 This belonged to a Marine who manned a 3d Defense Battalion 90mm antiaircraft gun. He fought at Guadalcanal and Bougainville. I'm not sure what some of the symbols mean.
laagi Posted July 30, 2016 Share #180 Posted July 30, 2016 Hi there, I'm new here so sorry to just pop in Not a huge collector myself but I do have a general interest in WWII and Vietnam militaria. I've recently acquired this sea bag and was wondering if anyone can help me identifying it? Era, history, unit, origin etc. If the label is correct this would be post WWII. Any info would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

6th.MG.BN Posted July 8, 2017 Share #190 Posted July 8, 2017 Great tread that I've been meaning to add to for sometime now. Here is one I got many years ago from the neighbor of the Marine. The bottom of the seabag has let go from poor storage but still a great looker! Ken

6th.MG.BN Posted July 8, 2017 Share #200 Posted July 8, 2017 There was a great show on the American Hero's Network about a year or so ago about G-3-1 Marines in Korea. The series is "Against the Odds", "Bloody George at the Chosin Reservoir", They still air it from time to time, watch it if you can. Ken
