Post your uniforms with atypical branch tapes

Recommended Posts

One of my favorite things to collect is uniforms that have branch tapes that aren't from the main branches of the military (Army, Navy, USAF, USMC, CAP, Merchant Marines and Coast Guard, etc). A lot of these end up being civilian uniforms which is another area I really enjoy collecting. Here are a few of my favorites from my collection, I'd love to see what other forum members have in theirs.

My favorite one of all, Ventura Country Young Marines. :w00t:

The paint stripping of M1 helmets, particularly protestor helmets, is destruction of history by the very men who claim to protect it.
Always looking for gear and items linked to the following: Joe S. Tamura US Army; Ken Tamura 442nd RCT; Capt. Emerson US Army Medical Corps, Norman Albert Wells Fifth Infantry Division

Those are all really cool, I have some of the same ones so I can't post them...LOL...

Out of all of the non-military DCU/BDUs I have, this one is probably the most cool--(it's also in the DCU thread)

A DCU that once belonged to Prudence Bushnell, former Ambassador to Kenya.....

I remember seeing this one in the DCU thread you mentioned and drooling over it that time too. This is by far one of my top favorites that I've seen posted on here. That's a fantastic uniform.

Can you tell what badges the guy on the right has on? Gold para on the bottom, but I don’t see the extended wings  of its normal construction. I’m plus he’s A baseball cap and not an 8 point  cap. This was the 80’s so who knows.

Yes it is--I'm very lucky to be the new caretaker of it! Steve is definitely one of the greats and although he never served, I'm sure that he must of boosted quite a bit of military moral back then!

Here's one I just saw in either Mercari or Letgo. Could they have been an advisor to the Marines?
