Wow! I know about 5 guys or more who would love to have that patch in their collection.

Some of the thread is missing from this Boeing patch...but it's still one of my favorites.

This is a group of patches from aircraft manufacturers located in Wichita KS during WW2. Beech, Cessna and Boeing still exist.

Hi Tinman, thanks to you and others who posted some unusual, some rare, and all beautiful patches relating to aircraft manufacturers a nice change from run of the mill infantry patches.

I might have a couple tucked away in a box somewhere and until I find them then here are a pair of coveralls chenille embroidered with ' Chance - vought Aircraft ', made in white cotton herringbone twill material by the BlueBell jean company.

Picked this one up this weekend. Already posted in this thread but thought it was neat to see on the coverall. This one belonged to a female inspector... Very excited to get this.

Hi good to see this thread opened up again after sitting dormant for four years, I would like to add another inspectors coverall for the Grumman Aircraft company, this is a pale OD herringbone twill material, made by the Criterion Uniform Co. Brooklyn NY. Size 38. Above the front top pocket are the letters ' P Z '.

I see that there is already a North American Aviation NAA Patch in this thread but I figured I'd add mine as well as it comes with the miniature lapel screwback pin as well. They came to me separately but they're together now.

And here's a close up of the pin as well as the back of the patch.

Charlie Flick

Very impressive group of patches!

Was there a particular patch used by the Douglas Aircraft Company at its factory in Tulsa, OK? I saw your Douglas patch but wondered if that covered all Douglas facilities or, like the Boeing Wichita example, there might be one in particular for Douglas Tulsa.

Great stuff.

Regards,

Charlie

Explanation of the badges.

These badge documents came from the estate of Irene Webber-Deines. She trained as a riveter but as it turned out, she was allergic to aluminum dust, so they moved her to Security.
