A dear friend of mine gave this to me when she found out I collected patches.

She was with Air America in the 60's

I read a book on the Ravens.Very intresting and lots of missions in Laos.I would say a very rare patch.Seldom seen.

A couple more attributed to the Ravens. The bottom patch is for the 54th SO Wing, which I believe was the Ravens parent unit.

I have one of the circular patches with the Raven and "Laos" on it too.

 

 

I think that the center patch is the 56th SOW though

The patches with the eagle (?) and "Laos" at the bottom are FAR pocket patches worn by Lao forces. Another style of FAR pocket patch has a red background and features an Erawan.

Only a guess, but I am thinking that the patch with the raven belly up in a glass of bubbly is from when the Ravens were disbanded?

That is a very astute observation, I will ask my friend if that is a possibility.
