Obviously a lot of fake bids here... "private listing - bidders' identities protected"

"Private Listing - Bidder's Identities Protected" is a setting made by the Seller, not the Bidders. This is normally used on high dollar auctions to insure that the Bidders are not harrassed or sent spam for sales offers.

nice jacket, yes repro and yes $250. these were sold via ebay few years back (not 10) , same guy had repro ammo float vest in same print and m1 covers. they were sold out of an asian country by someone who produced war time fabric or uniforms by his farther back in the day, or so his advert read.

Dear ALL,

It's the repro which made in my workshop on 2006.

This seller re-sell my repro item as real VN items.

I never sell my repros as real.

Thank you.

There you have it...

I know this guy. He once bought a set of very small, original TS pants from me. I mean these things were child size. A few weeks later he suddenly had all these "original" TS name tapes, jumpwings, tridents etc. The material was original alright, the embroidery, not so much.

Who are we talking about? The Ebay seller or our Forum member?

My bad, I was referring to the Ebay seller and not the forum member. Sorry for the confusion, wouldnt want to diss the wrong guy. To be fair, the seller in question did give me a bunch of the tapes for free. I in turn sold them off but clearly stated that they were repros on original cloth. It was kind of obvious, since the TS cloth was faded out and the embroidery was fresh as a daisy.
