not sure what you're asking exactly, but, yes this is a Model 2 experimental helmet from WWI. this one is missing the liner pads and chinstrap; originally they had a 3-pad liner similar to German WWI helmets. this one also looks like it may have been repainted at some point, at least on the outside.
