Sabrejet Posted December 12, 2010 Share #2 Posted December 12, 2010 Given the tricoleur and cockerel, I'd say there was possibly a French connection!? Sabrejet
NebrPatch Posted December 12, 2010 Share #3 Posted December 12, 2010 This patch is the French 2nd Army, possibly dating from WWII Tom

Proud Kraut Posted December 12, 2010 Share #5 Posted December 12, 2010 Many thanks for the assistance. No wonder I could not find it in any of my US Shoulder Sleeve Insignia books!Ken But you'll find this patch in a couple of 1940's Patch King catalogues. So I think it was made in the U.S. and sold by this companies. I have no clue about the history of the 2nd French Army but could it be, that this unit was trained by the U.S.?
