Recommended Posts

Thanks Jerry. I saw this thread and thought it fit better here so that is why I posted here. Some really nice stuff here. I really like the modified gear.

Thanks.

Ronnie

I saw in person at one time an M-426A flight suit with a pen/pencil pocket modified to the upper sleeve. The material appeared to be of the stiff gray type.

Hi North.

It make sense! Late war type flight suit (nylon and cloth version M668) have a factory made pencil sleeve pocket.

You should make a photo of it.

cheers,

Jerry

Here is an 1980s USN Parachute Rigger made Navigation bag for an A-6E Bombardier/Navigator from VA-52. Has space for charts, checklists, pens and grease pencils. This one even has a place for the all important sunglasses.

Soo cool! Thanks for pic!

Here is my last custom made note pad with pencil. Leg strap is made by goggle strap with parachute bungee cord hook.

Cheers,

Jerry

Holster is interesting. It looks like .45 M3 holster but adapted to used with .38. Also a ammo loops have a .38 special bullets vs .45.

I hope a new owner of this set show us how the .38 fit into holster right now.

I noticed a .38 M3 holster with .45 also. It could be a tight fit for sure.

Regards,

Jerry

I agree.I believe they used what was avaiable and made it work or fit the purpose.
