37thguy Posted December 11, 2010 #1 Posted December 11, 2010 Picked this up last week and it just arrived today. Gotta say it is about perfect. It's never been on a head I think. Flocking is about 99% and interior with leather straps can't be improved upon. Now to find an M-3 this nice?! Enjoy, -Mark
dmar836 Posted December 11, 2010 #7 Posted December 11, 2010 Very nice indeed. My M-3 still had the instruction sheet under the webbing! Dave KC
Sabrejet Posted December 11, 2010 #8 Posted December 11, 2010 They don't come much better than that! I have an M3 in similar shape which also came with an instruction leaflet tucked under its web suspension, as mentioned above by Dave. Sabrejet

BEAST Posted December 12, 2010 #12 Posted December 12, 2010 Very nice example! I would like to find one this nice! Did the use of the flak helmets continue during the Korean War? Would B-26 or B-29 crewman still be wearing them?
