Background: I was in a Thirft store in Oakland Ca. years ago and bought a complete WWI Army Signal Corp uniform. Tucked in the inside pocket was this Phrase book and inside the phrase book was two business cards and a dance card from a French Club/Casino. The only name anywhere was on the business card M.B Kindleberger. For some reason I keep the book and card seperate from the uniform, glad I did because it's all I had left of my original collection (all gone). I could only surmise that the fellow may not have time to use his dance card since it wasn't filled in, but who knows he may have kept it because he did use it?
