As I was going thru some recently acquired patches I noticed the patch on the left. It has rounded chain links, unlike the right one which has more squared links.

The square link version is the rarer of the two for sure. And, relating to your forum "motto", if there weren't variations and unofficial patches, entire collections would fit in a couple of shoe boxes!

Variety is the spice of life!Wow,I sure love the way the older patches shine,and the embroidery is awesome.They just don't make em now like they used to!

Tex,

 

While searching for variations of Log Command patches, just don't buy any "fat-leg" variations of the ultra rare 318th Log (flamingo). The real ones have very thin legs.
