Thats a Great Piece of American Military History you have got there and you never seem to amaze with some Outstanding Top Quality Painted WWI M1917 Helmets You have aquired there over the last couple of weeks! And Congrats on a Super Helmet that is one to be very proud to have in a Collection :thumbsup: Tomás.

This is just one of those helmets that speaks to me every time I see it and is one of the few which will probably never be sold. Speaking of selling, do you want to move those two photo's you've posted here. Thanks for the kind words Scott. Sorry to say my collection of black doughboy photos was sold to the U.S. Army Museum in Carlisle, PA. (It went to a safe home to help pay for the Waldo group.) :crying: PS - Scott, I finally picked up a "Wreath and Shield" French Adrian helmet today! No ID, but I would guess it was probably issued to a T.M.U. Field Service driver. I'll put some pics up tomorrow when I have better lighting than in my war room.
