I do not believe they are "experimental." They are unauthorized, but sometimes worn, chevrons to show the Specialist ratings of soldiers. I have mostly seen these being worn in images of National Guardsman.

These chevrons were not experimental, they were not authorized in the regulations but were commonly worn. The top single stripe is for PFC the wearer's rank and the bottom rockers indicate his specialist level. Each rocker is a higher specialist grade which got him more money but he still had the authority of a PFC. The wearer of one stripe and one rocker would be referred to as a "First and Sixth" meaning a Private First Class and a Specialist Sixth Class, one stripe and six rockers would be a "First and First" for Private First Class and Specialist First Class with the one in between being similar.

There have been a few other threads on these chevrons. Here is one that was fairly recent.

I think the first and second chevron you show may have been cut from a S/SGT and TECH SGT chevron. Notice how the top of the chevron doesn't come to a point like the other examples. I'm not sure if this is important but those first two have the rocker touching the chevron while the other examples do not touch.
