Anyone have and ID for this one?

Here's one that has me stumped. Its about two and a half inches tall. Looks like the squadron patches you see that were made in Tripoli / North Africa. I see NORTH in the center of the star and AFRICA (Yes, I know it looks like APRICA), ac ross the bottom. But not sure on the initials.

Does anyone have an ID on it?

Maybe this is a possibility. I see SSAB or SS Air Base, North Africa....
