Here are two that arrived today, the 381st & 44th Missile Maintenance Squadrons. If I recall (Terry Horstead has the actual story if I remember), the 44th MMS was suppose to be made as the 44th MIMS, and for years most of us had it as a Munitions Maintenance squadron. But when it was sent to be made, the "I" was left out. Something about someone not liking it as "MIMS". Terry knows the whole story.
