He served on the Show Boat from 11 May 1945 till late 1946. I have searched the web, I guess I'm not looking in the right place. I don't get to this thread to often would you send me a PM. Every time I start to work on the display, I find that I have more questions. Just wanting to get it right the first time. Do you know anything about White Seal Whiskey? I remember my Dad talking about it from the time he was in, I have a little white seal with a red ball on it's nose.

Michael Michael, In case you are not aware, Turner Publishing put out a book USS NORTH CAROLINA BB-55 in 1998. It's a nice book with a chronological account of her wartime activities, a complete list of crew 1941-47, and some individual bios. It's only 112 pages but well done.
