jagjetta Posted August 22, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2007 Greetings, I posted quite a few pics of the Iola, Wisconsin, Military Vehicle Show (August 11-12, 2007) here: http://www.militaryvehiclesmagazine.com/De...59#5659Articles In all, there were about 150 military vehicles displayed. I would estimate the total number of German and U.S. reenactors at about 85-100 (very vehicle heavy on the U.S. side! If you were to believe the reenactment, GIs made contact with their jeeps, then drove 6x6s full of foot soldiers to within 30 yards of the enemy before disembarking!). It is a good event...400 vendor spaces sold, concurrent tractor and old truck show as well as a gun show all on the same grounds. 7,000 visitors through the gate. Next year's show is scheduled for August 9-10, 2008 John A-G Iola, WI
Jim Baker Posted August 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2007 The vehicles were nice, Amy is hot, and a few of the re-enactors have been visiting the doughnut truck too often.
Jeeper704 Posted August 22, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 22, 2007 As usual ..... (a quick jump into my foxhole with my helmet on, 'cause of the flak I'm getting from re-enactors now ). Amy really is hot though .... Erwin The vehicles were nice, Amy is hot, and a few of the re-enactors have been visiting the doughnut truck too often.
