craig_pickrall Posted November 8, 2010 Share #5 Posted November 8, 2010 Those suspenders were made for the M1944 Combat Pack. The design was changed slightly for the M1945 version. They are not very common or easy to find.
QED4 Posted November 8, 2010 Share #6 Posted November 8, 2010 What is the difference between the M-44 and M-45 Suspenders? I know there is a difference in the packs but I thought the suspenders remained the same until the pads were added under the shoulder straps in the late 1940s. The designation changed because they were part of the pack system and its designation changed.
craig_pickrall Posted November 10, 2010 Share #7 Posted November 10, 2010 The difference is the pads you mention. I was thinking they were added with the 1945 production but did not check any records before making my comment. Still with the 1944 date they are very good.
