cpatrick Posted August 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2007 I thought that it would be a great idea to start a thread consisting of the interviews of American veterans from all wars. I am trying to find interviews of veterans from WWI, or possibly even earlier wars - if we can find them. In the spirit of preserving American military history, I will start the thread with an interview from an American Chaplain from the First World War. (How rare is that!!) I will be adding more as I have time, and I encourage everyone else to add some of their own. Chris

rrobertscv Posted August 21, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 21, 2007 I have a set of DVD's we did here, about 3 years ago. A man here in town interviewed, at length every living WWII in our county, I think it was 57 guys and at least 4 of these died before he was done with the project. We had everything from Navy cooks to a Ranger that helped map the beaches before the D-Day invasion and a 101st Vet that jumped at D-day. He does have these for sale if anyone is interested.
