COMBAT CLIPS FROM WWII

I was going through YT today, and I came across this interesting piece of footage. It was shot from the German side at Normandy. I have to admit, I had to laugh when they refered to the captured paratroopers of the 101st as "bandits" - I'm sure the fact that the Germans occupied France for as long as they did makes them something better?? Either way, I like to see footage from "the other side", because they tend to show things that the US propoganda material prefered not to show. It give a glimpse of the true reality of the war.

You are right, it is very interesteing watching it from the German point of view. Have you seen the show on the History channel that has a gentleman read Hitlers lips in the soundless german films? He reads Hitlers lips and a actor that has what is thought to be Hitlers match in voice, voices the words while Hitler is in the Eagles Nest and while he is interviewing the young Hitler Youth in Berlin during the last days ( Hitlers last film actually). Talk about interesting! I wish I could remember the name of the show??? I love watching anything German that has to do with the war..if you find anymore like this, please post!

Here is a really cool German Paratrooper training film with english subtitle..Glad I did't have to exit the airplane like they did...belly flop method!LOL
