Saskatoon Light Infantry Posted October 31, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2010 Like many members of this forum, I have an avid interest in early USMC field gear. With that said, there is only one thing more interesting then USMC field gear, and that's Confederate field gear. Pictured below is a gorgeous Confederate cartridge box with sling and Georgia State Seal cartridge box plate. This beauty is 100% original. kjones5452 Posted October 31, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 31, 2010 I have to agree, beautiful. I imagine finding mint condition Civil War equipment is rare, especially anything Confederate. Well done.

csxrailfan Posted November 6, 2010 Share #5 Posted November 6, 2010 Wow....that is very nice. Wish it was in my collection. Being from Georgia and a Civil War Buff makes me want it that much more. Congrats... very nice.
