I acquired this along with several other items at the estate sale of a WW2 Veteran. The cards show a lot of use. The only date that I can find is on the Contract Bridge scoring card. Only one homemade peg. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks, Al Hirschler

Hello very nice set, this was most likely either available to soldiers through the PX, or sold to the public as gifts aimed at servicemen. I personally have seen chess, chinese checkers, and checkers with the US seal. I have a 1943 dated game called the "Jeep Game" that was meant to be strapped on the soldiers leg when in small areas (like a tent or vehicle).

It would look neat in a display.

This is the one I have, it has everything and then a marine emblem

Thats a cool one, never seen anything like it! Seems to have a sewing kit, hygiene kit, and games all in one!
