pconrad02 Posted October 25, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2010 In 30+ years of collecting, first time I've seen this size: 42 STUB!!! What is that, size "42 stubby"??? Also never seen a patch on an otherwise OK uniform eaten so precisely: Something new is always out there! Paul

Paul Paul, I had a 1949 USAF blue Ike jacket that was a size 43PR (Portly Regular?) but I've never seen a "Stub". As for the patch, I've got a 9th AF one that I thought was a black variation, until I realized that every last bit of blue felt had been eaten off of it, leaving a perfect 9th AF on the black backing... It actually looks pretty cool! Jon
