Cobrahistorian Posted October 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2010 Just found this on the Washington DC Craigslist: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/clt/2014956731.html Top turret for a B-26 bomber! Pretty cool, although probably slightly high without two dummy .50 cals in there.

Johnny Signor Posted October 22, 2010 Share #3 Posted October 22, 2010 There's guy here in Florida in the Lakeland area that owns the only flying B-26 , his place is called Fantasy of Flight and he'd probably be the one to snap that one up, all told he's got more $$$$$ than he knows what to do with it . Yep, very familiar with Kermit Weeks' stuff. The last time I was down his way, I saw the salvaged Ki61 "Tony" that he's got. Pretty increidble seeing one of those! HerbG Posted October 29, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 29, 2010 I remember that back in the 50's Pally's Surplus in Santa Monica had complete turrets (less the.50's) listed in their catalogs. As I recall they were brand new still in packing crates. I don't recall the price, but nothing in their catalogs were terribly expensive.
