Searching a Marine aviator

Hi all,

 

Would anyone have some information about Charles Philipps Williams (USMC, service #067681) who was stationed in Japan about 1959/60? He retired in 1971 as a major. I appreciate to know more about him. His children from whom I kept his flightsuit did not know more about his career nor have other information.

Yes, I believe it would be possible that he was a young marines plane captain in 1940. His personal number is not on the log I presume?

No service numbers appear. In any case, his service number would have changed once becoming an Officer.

Capt. Charles P. Williams (as of 1960) Service # 067681 entry date was 1/8/51, He was commissioned on 2/19/55, His date of rank was 7/1/59 and his DOB was 10/13/31. His service from 1951 to 1955 was as a Marine Corps Enlisted Man.
