Civil War .58 Rounds

Recommended Posts

Thought I might start digging out some of my collection to share. Here are two unused Civil War rounds, still paper wrapped. Top is a .58 Williams Cleaner, bottom .58 round. Hope you enjoy these.

Neat, There can't be too many of those left, Hey, you have two, can we shoot one of them in this?

Belgian made, Austrian Muscatoon dated 1861, J Huill carved on stock. A friend just inherited this and a few other CW guns. I was looking for a reason to show this to you guys. Belgian proof under sight, appears to have "Belgium" stamped on barrel. The ones with ram rods were supposed to be for US import(~2500). The unit markings on butt are confusing if anyone has any ideas what they mean please let me know.
