sdbs56 Posted October 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2010 I am hoping someone can help me out. I recently got some items from an estate sale and inside one of the wooden trinket boxes was a GAR ribbon and a metal souvenir heart shaped pin. The ribbon is blue and has a bar with Colo. & Wyo. on it and an attached photograph of a gentleman. The heart pin reads 40th Nat'l Encampment Minneapolis 1906 and the date on the sides of Aug 13 - 16. Am I safe in assuming that a member of the Colo. & Wyo. GAR attended the Minneapolis encampment? Any suggestions on how to find out who the man is in the picture? I am very intrigued with these items and would appreciate help. Thank you, Sam
