48MMS Posted October 1, 2010 #1 Posted October 1, 2010 Have seen this listed from the B-47 era, but is it? Thank you in advance.
Johnny Signor Posted October 1, 2010 #2 Posted October 1, 2010 I would say more towards the 60's-70's era, the 50's were usually a little larger, and some tended to have a "latin" motto rather than the "Unit" title. Johnny
48MMS Posted October 1, 2010 Author #3 Posted October 1, 2010 I tend to agree, it's just that I saw one on ebay with the non-Latin script slated as B-47 era. It was longer versus the chunkier version I have.

Al and John I was at Wurtsmith in 1967 (TDY with the 445th) and PCS there with OMS in 1975-76 I bought patch at the BX during my first trip and it was still being worn when I went back. The ends of the scrolls were totally different. Having been there done that i would say it's from Homestead - Not Wurtsmith Terry L Horstead

48MMS Posted October 2, 2010 Author #6 Posted October 2, 2010 Many thanks, I will list it from Homestead AFB.
Johnny Signor Posted October 2, 2010 #7 Posted October 2, 2010 Hey 48MMS, you'll notice that the posted patch has the "Latin" motto like I mentioned . Johnny
