robinb Posted September 26, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2010 Does anyone know if this belt has a model number? 100 rounds of 30-40 Krag, 12 rounds of .38, and a sabre ring. Is it Cavalry?

New Romantic Posted September 27, 2010 Share #4 Posted September 27, 2010 Yup a rare belt, 1896 pattern as Mike mentioned. Drop the bayonet and add a holster.
noworky Posted September 29, 2010 Share #5 Posted September 29, 2010 robinb that's a very nice Mills 1896 Cavalry belt I purchased mine from Scott Duff several years ago when I collected M1 Garands. They are few and far between mine is missing the saber chape which is a bummer. Is that a Krag bowie? If it is you should post picutres on the edged weapon board. robinb Posted September 29, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted September 29, 2010 Yes, that's a Krag bowie bayonet. I was wondering how long it would take before someone said something about it.
