So here's a "Rigger transformed" (with additional chest pockets) USN "G-8" nylon jacket. It is the version B from the beginning of the 60's. Unfortunately, all his patches were gone when I found it.

I have worked on my new collection room. Some new pieces of furniture and frames. Add a little work. And now missing some good torsos to display my flight jackets...

Looks amazing !!! The USAF pilot have a red bandana around the neck ?? Like USMC and USN in WW2 :) !!!!

Not a bandana. It's a classic red flying scarf. Often with the squadron colouor or squadron personnalized.

Small changes and two additional torsos my brother is lending to me. I would like to find some shorter torsos. So, I could close the jackets without any risk deteriorate the waist knits.

Here is a Korean war USAF F-86 pilot wearing:

- blue G-4A anti-g suit

- USN Mk-2 mae west (well worn by some USAF jockeys)

- Squadron baseball cap

- G-2 sunglasses

- Scarf

- US Army service brown shoes ( these are 1951 dated)

- Backstyle parachute, Automatic (7024-50C-9)

- P-3 helmet and MS-22001 mask

- L-2A flight jacket (with post-war 4th FIW/334th FIS patches)

- B-3A gloves

An outstanding collection! One of my favorites on this website and it is refreshing to see a collection such as this which has things we don't see all that often on this forum.
