I would like opinions on this one as well. As money concerns are slowing down my collecting, I am trying to reaserach and date the patches I have. I bought this 307th Bombardment Wing for $3 last year, part of a pilot's estate, however I wasn't given the name. Unlike most 307th BW patches, this one has a very defined Eagle. The webmaster (and former member of the Wing) of the 307th BW Association thinks maybe B-47 era. I think so as well, and have not seen a similar version on any other site.

The tab says 307th BOMBARDMENT Wing this is B-47 / KC-97's - Lincoln AFB related, The 307th BOMBARDMENT Wing did not fly B-52's and the 307th STRATEGIC Wing did not fly B-47 / KC-97's at RTNAF U-Tapao.
