316th FS 324th FG Posted September 16, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 16, 2010 Picked this up the other day. A 1918 dated canteen cup and cover. Cup is marked to the 101st Quartermaster S Co Canteen cover is named to Lt. Col Ripstra, printed, and has a hand written number that looks to be 132 above. The only officer named Ripstra that I have found is a 132nd Regiment officer named Lt. Col Ripstra, who fought in the asian campaigns. Forgot to write down the name of the makers, will post that from home this evening. So what do you think, is this the same Lt Col Ripstra's canteen?
