.50 Ammunition Gun Box, Aircraft

Recommended Posts

I purchased this at the local gunshow today. I have no earthly idea what I'm going to do with it but I thought it was pretty cool. I thought these would be made out of metal but that isn't the case. Some sort of plastic, fiberglass or bakalite material. Size in inches: 6 x 11 x 16 tall.

Is the A-25 designation for the "helldiver"? Does this item date to WWII?

Thanks for looking!

Kim

Thanks for the response Tom!

As I look at it again, it could actually be some sort of fiber board construction.

This will be the closest I'll ever get to owning a "piece" of an historic airplane like that.

Even more Rare since the Army rejected the A-25 for the most part. Nice Score.

Freedom isnt free... it must be paid for. Too often it is paid for by the blood of patriots. For those who have paid their share, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.
