Can someone point me in the right direction for research?

I know these are US Army from Viet Nam, (not sure if original)

But is this the 50th of the 150th????

The back does not have the "iron on" glue but what what looks like scrap album glue.

Black thin twill base and the white does glow..

Thanks for looking

Hmm... this is a new one on me.

I don't believe the numbers are for a US Army unit, especially given the small size of the boat.

More likely it was boat #150. The "50" might refer to a crewman manning a .50 cal machine gun?

According to Cecil Smyth's book put out by ASMIC "United States Coastal and River Forces in Vietnam," it is "150th Assault Support Patrol Boat, River Squadron 50". It is on page 24 of our version of the book. Nice period Vietnam piece.
