Rust removal from E-tool

I chose to just stop the rust on mine, spraying WD-40 on it and letting it sit for a couple days.

Then wiping it off and repainting it. Post some before and after photos! :thumbsup:

Just don't use a steel wire brush, it will leave marks on your blade. As others have said, if you don't mind getting it dirty, that definitely takes the rust off.

Thanks for all the help guy, I cleaned most of the rust that was a gunked up off with some wd40 and a pad thats similar to steel wool (dont know exactly what its called) anyways, all the heavy rust is gone. I actually do plan on digging with it, i had dug a bunker for airsoft with my m43 e tool, but thats a real nice one, and i didnt have an m51 to go with my vietnam collection, so i got one, and look forward to using it, Pics will be posted in the latest finds section
