100 missions Phantom 2 Patch

Looks just like the ones I saw the F4 guys wearing. I understand that these patches were thank-you gifts to the aircrews from McDonald Douglas.

Your patch is the real deal. These were presented to crews by McDonnell Douglas, along with a certificate. They exist in 100 and 200 Mission versions for both the F-4 and RF-4. There were local made ones with other numbers too. Any computer made one, especially those with 300 and up, are fake.

Hope you folks can help me. I thought this was a reproduction when I got it, but after looking at this thread, I thought there might be a chance that this is a Vietnam War era made original. The one thing that I don't like is that the back doesn't feel right. Almost like a plastic feel to it.

Sorry, that one is bad. They did make a variation with just red numbers/lettering, but it looks like the one posted below. The NVN tab is a separate piece awarded to those that qualified. This one is a bit yellowed from age.
