Helmet from Brig

I don't have a picture of the "before" but this was the helmet Brig found in an old warehouse. It was rusty and has some fractures but I did some hand work on it and turned it into a Good Airborne Helmet. I got it yesterday and worked on it until this evening.

 

I haven't decided but I may add some vesicant paint to it and camo it up.

Maybe Brig can post a *before* pic.

 

 

I repaired the inside as much as possible and left it alone. The bales were locked tight but I got them swiveling again.

 

Still has fractures but They don't go all the way through. It is what it is.

Since I'm out of my milieu with helmets, I'm sure I am missing a large part of the restoration you've done.

Having said that, what I can say is that I do appreciate your skill and patients in the obvious work you have

put in. I think it looks great.
