Well . . . half of one anyway :ermm:

 

I love oddities, and this fit the bill for me. It is about a yard long, but looks like it was trimmed and hammered smooth at the bottom. Made of thin steel and riveted along the seam. 4" diameter on the tube. Inside is a leather cone shaped plunger

It matches pics I've seen of the manual pump on the nose of DUKW's (Those are about 6' long), just cut short :blink:
