Another patch ID needed

Here is another patch I am having trouble identifying. I thought it might be Air Force, but I couln't find it on the USAFpatches web site. Any ideas? thanks.

US Navy Fighter Squadron-103, (VF-103) I'm not sure of the era or aircraft type flown , I've seen this patch only a few times, any other members know of it's era etc ?

1953-1957 while the squadron nickname was the Flying Cougars. Of course, this patch is a modern reproduction. Jeffro

Yep. Source says the F9F-6s and F9F-8B specifically.

Thanks , do you have any photos of this "specific" emblem being worn on uniforms or on thier Panther aircraft ?????
